Historic Olive Growing Estate Near Palma, Mallorca
The historic estate is one of the oldest in Mallorca and dates back to the Conquest of Majorca, first owned by the Catalan nobleman, Ramon Saclusa.
Set in the countryside northwest of Palma de Mallorca and located near the village of Establiments, the property includes the 17th century manor house, an ancient oil mill (tafona), and a chapel surrounded by gardens.
In addition to the olive groves, the 617 acre estate also has carob, orange trees and a vineyard that have been producing income for the estate for hundreds of years, along with animal husbandry.
Approached through a spectacular avenue of ancient eucalyptus trees, the main residence has been described as a “diamond in the rough”.
The 30,000 sq ft mansion has 15 bedrooms and several reception rooms, each offering spectacular views over the surrounding countryside, mountains, sea, and the city of Palma.
