Arisaig House is set near its namesake village in Inverness-Shire, located on the west coast of Scotland. The country house was originally built in 1863 for Francis Dukinfield Palmer-Astley, and was the only Scottish house by English Arts and Crafts architect Philip Webb.
Sadly, little of the original house remains aside from the complex of outbuildings and gardens as it was destroyed in a fire in 1935. Arisaid House was entirely rebuilt incorporating the original materials in 1937, and offers over 18,000 square feet of interiors including four reception rooms and 14 bedroom suites.
The 18.2 acre property includes an all-weather tennis court, lovely gardens (including a productive walled garden) and acres of woodland trails.
